Our Mission:
It is the mission of Red River Charter Academy to prepare a diverse group of students for post- secondary success through rigorous academics and character development. We aim to provide a tuition-free public charter school to serve students in grades 6-8 at start. RRCA will provide the surrounding communities with a neighborhood school of choice from underserved communities and underperforming school districts providing students with the skills they need to succeed in post-secondary education. Red River Charter Academy promotes high achievement in all subjects through a demanding curriculum, extensive support services, and the use of data- driven, best practice teaching methods.
Our Vision:
RRCA offers an exceptional interdisciplinary curriculum in a technology-rich environment that challenges students to explore connections across subjects and use experiential learning to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Along with a challenging core curriculum, RRCA students will benefit from high expectations in physical education, life skills, and the arts. RRCA will promote positive moral and social values, foster an atmosphere of self-discipline in a safe learning environment and maximize individual productivity to meet the needs of a changing global society. RRCA students will be able to take full advantage of their potential for successfully actualizing their goals with confidence and intrinsic motivation, thereby enabling each student to become a lifelong learner and strong functional contributor to their local community as well as their global community.
